SHRIEKING OWL PRODUCTIONS is a theater company dedicated to bringing interesting, complex and boundary pushing theater to the High Desert. The artistic community in the desert is vast. We seek to help amplify creative voices in and around the area.
Watching a play is an ephemeral, beautiful experience. We hope to make theater engaging and accessible to all audiences.
FOUNDER
Cixous LeComte
Cixous is an artist from the Mojave Desert, who seeks to find duality and disruption in her work. She first began performing in the community theater in Victorville, where she discovered her love for creating. Since then, she has received a Master of Fine Arts from the University of California, where she wrote a collection of poetry. Her poems can be found in Apricity Press and Driftwood Press.
